Mitch
Mitch "Big Time" Mitchell was the kind of wrestler who made you laugh and cringe at the same time. His powerhouse style was matched only by his sharp wit, which he used to entertain crowds across Texas.
Born in 1973, Mitchell grew up playing football in Magnolia, where he developed a taste for physical punishment. When he turned 32, he decided to put his 240-pound frame to use in the ring, debuting in 2005 with a bang.
Nicknamed "Big Time" for his larger-than-life personality and crushing moves, Mitchell quickly became a fan favorite. His comedy gimmick was as much a part of his act as his thunderous slams and suplexes. Opponents often found themselves on the receiving end of a well-timed pie in the face or a sarcastic quip that left them reeling.
Mitchell's wrestling style was all about power and presence. At 6'2", he loomed large over the ring, his broad shoulders and chiseled features making him an intimidating sight to behold. His moves were just as impressive – nothing was more devastating than a perfectly executed Mitchell Mauler (that's what he called it, anyway).
After stints in Ohio Valley Wrestling, Deep South Wrestling, and World Wrestling Entertainment, Mitchell hung up his boots in 2006. Though his active career was short-lived, his impact on the wrestling world remains significant. Fans still recall his antics with fondness, and fellow wrestlers speak highly of his infectious energy and genuine charm.
Mitchell may not have been the most technically gifted wrestler, but he knew how to work a crowd like few others. When he stepped into that ring, everyone knew they were in for a wild ride – and sometimes, that's all you need from a pro wrestler.
