NJPW Korakuen Hall Report: A Thrilling Night of Action
Tokyo, Japan - November 20th, 2023 - Korakuen Hall played host to an electrifying night of professional wrestling as New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) brought the heat to a packed crowd. The event, broadcast live on TV, featured a stacked card with eight matches that showcased the best of what NJPW has to offer.
The evening got underway with a pre-show bout between Yuto Nakashima and Katsuya Murashima. In a spirited contest, Nakashima emerged victorious, pinning his opponent in 4:37 to set the tone for the rest of the night.
Gates Of Agony, comprised of Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona, took on Oskar Leube and Tomoaki Honma in a tag team match. The four competitors put on a show, with Gates Of Agony ultimately prevailing after 6:21 of action.
The first main event saw Kaito Kiyomiya, Oleg Boltin, and Ryohei Oiwa team up to take down the United Empire (Callum Newman, Great-O-Khan, and HENARE) in a six-man tag. The crowd was on their feet as the trio secured the win after 9:41 of thrilling action.
Next up was an eight-man tag featuring Master Wato, Ren Narita, Shota Umino, Tiger Mask, and BULLET CLUB (Alex Coughlin, Gabe Kidd, Gedo, and Taiji Ishimori). In a chaotic match that saw all eight competitors involved at some point, the faces emerged victorious after 8:35 of mayhem.
House Of Torture (Dick Togo, EVIL, and Yujiro Takahashi) faced off against TMDK (Kosei Fujita, Mikey Nicholls, and Shane Haste) in a six-man tag. The two teams put on an incredible display, with House Of Torture securing the win after 10:18 of action.
The second half of the card kicked off with a World Tag League 2023 Block B match between Atlantis Jr. and Soberano Jr. and Minoru Suzuki and Yuji Nagata. The crowd was electric as the two teams clashed, with the winners emerging after 10:01 of competition.
Next up were Monstersauce and Rogue Army in another WTL 2023 Block B contest. In a hard-hitting match that saw both teams give it their all, Monstersauce emerged victorious after 11:15 of action.
The penultimate bout featured Just 5 Guys against Yota Tsuji and Zandokan Jr. in a WTL 2023 Block B match. The four competitors put on an incredible show, with the winners securing the pin after 19:30 of grueling action.
Finally, Guerrillas Of Destiny took on Bishamon in another WTL 2023 Block B contest. In a thrilling match that saw both teams give it their all, Guerrillas Of Destiny emerged victorious after 20:14 of action.
As the curtain closed on an incredible night of wrestling, NJPW fans left Korakuen Hall with full hearts and high hopes for what's to come in the world of professional wrestling. 4.5 out of 5 stars
